Cultivation:::Plants are more or less intermediate between Arachnis and vanda plants in appearance. In general they are slightly stouter than the Arachnis plants and their leaves can be longer. Aranda hybrids are still popular as cut-flowers but are generally being replaced by the Mokara hybrids. They like full sun. They can be planted in pots or wooden slats and charcoal chips or in beds of wood mulching and teak wood staking for support..
