The Poor man's croton.Coleus throughly deserves this nick name as it is the cheapest and esiest way to add brightly coloured foliage to a house plant collection. The soft stemmed bush should be kept at about 1 ft high by pinching the tips, and flower stalks should be removed as they appear. They can be overwintered, but coleus soon becomes leggy and defoliated. Grown under partial shade or sun.Can be grown in pots. Partial Humidity is needed. Water with care. The compost must dry out to some extent between waterings, but never wait until the leaves wilt.
