Vanam Orchids is involved in the business of outsourcing from growers and exporting cut flowers , foliage and pot plants.

There are several types of orchids grown

* Miniature cymbidiums, (25 varieties)
* Phaleanopsis, (White and Mauve varieties)
* Oncidiums
* Dendrobiums
* Vandas,Arandas,Mokaras,kagawaras to name some...

Our production is designed to meet the cut flower market in Japan and other parts of the world. In addition to cut flowers, We also sell pot plants.

The orchid season varies according to the product;
* Standard cymbidiums - season bet. June to October
* Miniature cymbidiums, - season bet. April to October
* Phaleanopsis, - season bet. March to December
* Oncidiums - season bet. April to May

Aside from supplying orchids, which is our main strength, we export a full range of cut flowers and foliage grown by other growers as and when they are available.

We also export various other commodities. To date we have exported horticultural related products, such as bark, sphagnum moss, and drift wood. Other products exported have been, log homes, timber, wine, comb honey, and ponga.
