Ref.No./ P&A No. - When placing the order we would
appreciate if you could use the Ref.No. and the name and description
of the product, this eliminates any doubt because at times we have same
products listed with different specifications.
Items available - We list all the different flowers
and foliage that are available at the time, along with their colours,
the length of the stem, and the grade. If whereby you require some products
that are not listed, kindly send us a fax or EMAIL and we shall try
our best to secure the product.
Per carton - Our P&A shows a number of a units that
are packed per carton. At times this figure could change depending upon
the packing method of each grower and their products. Some times, at
the freight station during pre shipment inspection, we may remove a
few stems or bunches if we find the quality is not up to the standard
or if the packing is too tight thus damaging the product during travel.
We also show the nature of the units, they could be stems, bunches,
blooms bouquets, etc. Our prices are based on each of these units.
We give theoretical volumetric weight in kgs per carton and on which
the freight is charged.
Order - The minimum order per shipment should be
for 110 kgs to receive the lower freight rate.
We provide standard Phytosanitary Certificate from the port of Origin.
Where it is needed necessary Import permits needs to be provided to
us with a copy informing the procedure.
Ther are other special hybrids available at special prices and also
custom lots of plants in quantities available . Please do email if you
need further details.
Note all prices are FOB our nursery.
All orders are subject to avaialbility of matching volumes.
Shipment by commercial air lines will be done. All expenses towards
freight, shipment handling and freight to destination are to buyers
account.
Some consignments will be shipped from Mumbai /chennai ,India farm and some from
KL airport-Malaysia according to varieties available in our
, Johore,Malaysia farm or from Bangkok , Thailand.
In addition We provide grower support service in which case the plants
will be shipped from grower bases.
SPECIES ORDERS
The orchid species will be adult plants and will be shipped bare root.
We are at the moment working on the possibility of Flasks of certain
species. On specific orders the species flask could be possible. A minimum
batch size of ten plants per variety need to be ordered. Each adult
plant will cost US$8.00 net.Packing, handling, Phyto, CITES will be
extra.
The cost of flask at this point of time works out to US$ 10/= US$15/=
per flask containing upto 40 plants.
The cost of freight from Mumbai Airport to destination at actuals plus
incidentals to borne by the client.
Unless specified ,full payments of plants and estimated freight charges
should accompany the order.

Orchid Shipping Instruction:
1. Orchids-Plants will be shipped in carton boxes with dimension 99x49x20
Centimeters.Flower Boxes vary in sizes. Prices are all F.O.B.-Chennai,India or Bangkok,Thailand.
2. All shipments will be Airfreight or Parcel Post or a shipping method
specified by customer.
3. To be sure of safety and prompt arrival, the following are required:
a) Customers clearly written address
b) Customers phone or fax number
c) Destination airport
d) Import permit, if required by country (see country list below)
4. Each shipment will be accompanied by Phytosanitry Certificate and
CITES cerficate issued by PLANT QUARENTINE DEPT, and Three (3) copies
of invoices.
5. The orchids will be packed in an insulated carton for protection
of cold weather. If any special packaging is required, please inform
us prior to shipping.
6. We guarantee orchids safety arrival. In case of damage, please notify
us as soon as possible. The gaurantee applies to airfreight shipment
only.
Note: At the airport, if the orchids are being claimed by broker, the
broker is responsible for the losses if occured.
7. Payment should accompany order in the form of Bank TT.
8. Minimum order for each shipment is US $ 200.00
9. The following Countries require the Import Permit :

Per unit Price
Our prices are based per unit in US Dollars FOB or CIF based on Order
.
Claim - If there are claims, we must be advised within
24 hours of the shipment arriving its destination. Further more we would
require to know from you the following information;
a. The cause of damage if it can be ascertained
b. The extent of the damage
c. Salvage value - even if it is damaged there is always some value
d. Pictures showing the damage.
e. If the cartons are damaged from the outside, prior to taking delivery
at the destination, please lodge a claim with air lines, with a copy
to us.
Payment - We make payment to our growers in advance
for the shipment , and in turn we request that our invoices should be
settled immediately.
Mode of Payment:We accept International Bank telegraphic transfers
payable to 'Our company.' on confirmation of firm orders.
When you make remittance, please ensure that you give an instruction
to your bank in the following style.

Prepare a Pay Order/Demand Draft payable at Mumbai, India
Details of the order to us .
TT PAYMENTS-Wire Transfer- SWIFT TRANSFER-RTGS
You
can send the amount to us via a Wire Transfer. This can only be used
for
payments in US Dollars. Also all the charges of the Wire Transfer
must be borne
by you. You will have to state this in your Wire Transfer Application
with your bank -
that all the charges for the Wire Transfer be debited to your Account.
Also
once you send the Wire Transfer do not forget to send an email to
info@orchidsasia.com with the details of the Wire Transfer.
